You can ask us to delete your Tino University Mind account and the personal data linked to it, whether you use Tino on the web or in the Android app.
Fastest: from inside the app
Sign in, open Profile → Delete account, and confirm. Your account is locked straight away (you are signed out everywhere and cannot sign in again). Locking is not deletion: our team then erases your data as described below, and we email you only when erasure is complete.
Can't sign in? Request it here
You can also email tinouniversitymind@gmail.com from your account's email address with the subject "Account deletion request".
What happens next
- We confirm the request comes from the account owner: in-app requests are confirmed by your sign-in; web requests by a link we email to the account's address. Nothing changes until you confirm.
- Your account is then locked straight away: you are signed out everywhere and cannot sign in again.
- Within 30 days we delete your profile, courses, uploaded files, study history, AI conversations, flashcards, quizzes, plans, reminders, voice clips and your own Earn listings.
- We email you only once every deletion step has been checked and completed.
What we may keep, and why
- Payment and billing records (amounts, references, dates), with your name and contact details removed and not linked to your account, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Messages you sent in group or direct chats are replaced with "Message removed — account deleted"; the text and attachments are deleted. Groups you created are handed to another group owner or administrator so other students keep their study space.
- Security and abuse records where needed to protect Tino and its users, kept only as long as needed.
- De-identified document extractions that are not linked to you.
- Our hosting provider keeps encrypted backups for a limited period; deleted data disappears from them when those backups expire. We never restore deleted accounts from backups.
